What is the best fishing reel for you?

Their are many differant types of fishing reels and depending on the species of fish and the area that you wish to fish in will greatly fdepend on the fishing gear and fishing reel that is used. Below we have made some general suggestions in regards to the types of fishing reels that can be purchased and the applications these can be used for. Fishing from the beach.

When fishing from the beach eigther spinning reels or the Alvey brany of fishing reels are generaly best to be used. Personally I like to use the Alvey beach fishing reels as these are built specifically to be used on the beach and it doesnt matter if you get sand in these reels where it is best to keep sand away from any spinning reels.

Boat fishing

When fishing from a boat the type of fishing reel really depends on what you are after, overhead fishing reels are great when you are trolling lures or deep water fishing. However if you are casting lures using baitcaster reels or spinning fishing reels would be suggested.
