Fishing tackle tiks and tips

When fishing from the beach you may ask what type of fishing gear should I use and what should I expect. The most common species of fish caught from the beach are generally bream, flathead, tailor and salmon. When fishing for bream we would suggest using a lighter fishing line normaly around 12lb - 15lb in strength. A great all round bait to use would be pilchards. When fishing for Salmon and taiolr we would suggest that you use a heavier fishing line normally around 20lb - 25lb should be sufficent unless you are hooking into some HUGE fish :) once again pilchards are a great source of bait to use when fishing for these species. The run in aand run out of the high tide is best when fishing from the beach and we would suggest heading to catch these fish eigther around sunrise or an hour or so before sunset. beach fishing article

When fishing in lakes and streams it is best to consult the locals of that particular area as their may be many differant species of fish and depending on what type of species you are targetting can make a big differance to the fishing gear bait and tackle used to cartch these. Also if you are looking at fishing with lures in lakes and streams you will generally find thatasking the locals may be the best way to go as their are so many differant types of fishing lures, colours and patterns.
