These reels have a frame and side plates machined from T-6061 aluminium to permit a very small spool gap. The spool is made from forged aluminium, the reel is put together wih stainless steel screws. The aluminium handle knob is anodised and has a stainless steel handle assembly. The ball bearings are sealed to prevent salt water intrusion.
